Get ready to be shocked by this dramatic news from Citroen.
Little city car the C1 Urban Ride now comes with a new Scarlet Red body colour, an optional contrasting Caldera Black roof colour and a revamped interior.
Okay it may not be big news to you but it’s certainly a big deal for Citroen. The French have now sold more than one million C1s worldwide since its launch in 2005. In fact, in 2018 alone Brits bought 7,457 of these baby 12 ft long cutey wootsy cars.
This new special edition gets larger wheel arch extensions, rear door Urban Ride decals, graphic stripes on the rear quarter panels, white door mirrors and 15-inch black alloys with black centre caps.
On the inside it’s got new Metropolitan Grey and White Urban Ride cloth seats with red top-stitching, plus front and rear carpet mats with the Urban Ride logo.
The new standard specification C1 Urban Ride Colour Pack (an extra) adds Anodised White trim around the multimedia module and on the upper part of the dashboard, a gloss black gear knob and air vents, and a, you guessed it, Urban Ride dashboard graphic.
Standard kit includes a reversing camera, four-speaker MP3/DAB digital radio with steering-wheel controls, Bluetooth® hands-free and a USB socket.
Under the bonnet is a three cylinder stop/start petrol engine with a claimed average of 69mpg.
Just stroll into your nearest dealer now and order one for £13,180 and it’ll be outside your house in around two months.
